MIRAGE IN YOUR HEAD

The philosophical idea of this painting is in opposition to the past and the future all his life. The destruction of the old, the formation of the new. Here is shown warrior attitude  of a man that held past dogmas and stereotypes that disappeared into eternity and now are the sand of eternal rebirth and transformation of life and death. Gladiator man is in the state of receiving the price of a mammoth but the mammoth itself is a mirage which melts before his eyes and collapses reborn into eternity of Egyptian pyramids. Egyptian pyramids are the symbol of the immortality. The action takes place at sunrise: the sun in the desert as a symbol of a birth of a new time. The sky is made in a gold leaf and gold is considered a symbol of the sun. The Latin name Aurum (Au) meaning gold , the golden goddess of dawn -the creator of the yellow and gold color in the sky during sunrise and sunset.
